I Built Apegarte Because I Didn't Know My Attachment Style Was Running My Life

Emma, creator of Apegarte

For years, my relationships followed the same painful pattern — and I had no idea why.

When I started understanding my attachment patterns, everything changed. The failed relationships, the constant anxiety, the push-pull cycles — they all had a root cause I'd never been taught about.

I created Apegarte because I believe everyone deserves to understand the invisible patterns shaping their love life. Not with academic jargon, but with real, practical tools that actually work.

This isn't therapy. It's a 12-week protocol built on attachment science, designed to help you recognize your patterns and build healthier relationships — starting with the one you have with yourself.

Over about six months, I went from compulsive checking and constant distraction to genuinely understanding my patterns and building around them. Not by trying harder — by trying differently.

The shift wasn’t about willpower or digital minimalism. It was about understanding why every previous attempt at ‘unplugging’ wasn’t working — and building a system that actually matched how my brain processes digital stimulation.

Now I pick up my phone with intention, not compulsion. Not perfect — intentional. And it’s remarkable how much clearer everything else becomes.

The Fluxbreak Protocol is the system I built for myself, formalized into a 12-week program. It’s not a detox. It’s a framework for understanding your digital consumption patterns and building a sustainable relationship with technology.

I’m not a neuroscientist. I’m someone who solved a problem most people assume is just part of modern life — compulsive digital consumption — and built this for everyone who’s ready to solve it too.
